I had a computer with XP and my printer always worked fine. Now that I have a new computer with Vista, the printer doesn't work. I know it is installed and set as default. Is it possible that the printer won't comply with Vista?

Hi leutsy78, first of all can you please tell us exactly what make and model of printer you have and is it connected via the parallel port(LPT1) or via a USB connection.

Also, did you let Vista detect the printer and install its drivers OR did you get drivers from the manufacturers web site? **note that drivers from previous OS such as XP will not work in Vista.
