Lightbulb can't install drivers...

I downloaded the lastest drivers from the Nvidia site, and it get's to a point in the installation process, and my screen resolution jumps from 1280x1024 down to 800x600, and tells me there's some error, and that I should contact my vendor. What the hell do I do?

I would guess that the drivers you are trying to install aren't the correct ones for that video card.

You need to identify exactly which Nvidia card you have to get the right drivers.

Another possibility is that although its Nvidia graphics it may be a non-standard one for that specific manufacturer e.g. Dell

What system do you have?
