Add hard drive to home net work
I just purchased a WD500gig hard drive and was wondering if I can hook it up directly to my Linksys WRT 54G router and run it on my network! Or maybe you can recomend a site to show me how to do it thx! By the way I dont have it yet.Ordered online will be here next week...Thx for any input.

No worries. The only thing you can do with this hard drive, is stick it in one of your computers, and then share the drive so the other computers can access it. If you are looking for a something like a file server, you may want to consider a small NAS unit that will just plug into your network and all the computers can access the drive without having the host computer on
