Boot Up Error After Re-installing Vista

Hiya,

Hope I'm putting this in the right place, computer noob here!

I just had to wipe everything off my son's pc and reinstall Windows Vista etc, but after I'd done it all I started to get this message everytime I boot it up (see pic). If I press F1 it then boots up ok but I don't understand why it is doing this or how I can get rid of it. Any advice would be much appreciated.

No picture so can't say what the problem is. Please attach .jpg screen grab if possible.

How far into the bootup do you get before this appears? Is it still in the BIOS? I know Dell machine BIOS can do this if you change the amount of RAM fitted. If it is from the BIOS you can go into the BIOS and then tell it to save settings to see if that clears it.
