I've talked to a bunch of people about this no one has a clue why this could be happening.

****** When I visit it, it is a full index of one of my harddrives, but it's fine for everyone else, it seems.
Ive cleared all cookies, and temp internet files.

Why does it happen and how do I fix it?

Well, there is javascript code that will show the user's HDD contents. But are you saying it only does it for you and no one else?

Also, it won't show it to anyone else.

Only me, and it's a traffic game like outwar, so I've visited it multiple times...

It's funny, it seems like it started when I was browsing my harddrive and the site at the same time, my computer farted and then this has happened everysince.

What is the IP of the site you are going too?

This might be a shot in the dark but maybe your internal IP matches that of the site for which you are going to.

That does sound reasonable, but I have a static IP and I've been visiting that site for a while now.. And I dont know how I can find the site IP because all I get is the index, same with the source.

Open an MS dos prompt and type "ping www.pornstarguru.com" to get their IP.

The ping results will display the IP of the site.

Also are you viewing this through one browser or are you trying different browsers (i.e. Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape)

No two IP address can be the same, every IP address is unique.


If you are running windows 2000 or XP try this from the command line:

First try to flush out your dns resolver cache:

1. Click Start
2. Go to run
3. Type CMD push enter
4. at the command prompt type: ipconfig /flushdns push enter

Another way to find the IP address or the domain name of an IP address is to use the command Nslookup

same as above steps:

at the command prompt type: nslookup 192.168.x.x (enter the IP address) Or use the domain name: computerproblems.org for example, it will give you back the IP address or resolve the IP to the FQDN.
