I bought a OCZ 720w went to the store to get my built assemble and the guy told me that I would need 1000w

here's what I have

P180 atx
2 DVD/RW 18x sata drives
2x 500gb IDE HD
2x 500gb sata II HD
(might gonna add one more 500 in the near future)
1x 250gb sata II HD for os
INTEL Q6600
1 Gigabyte cpu cooler
Gigabyte mobo 965D-DQ6
1 NVidia 8800 320mb
2x1gb Corsairs ram
a few 12v fans included with the case

I did some calculation online and came up with 522w

Anybody have an opinion on this!!!

Hi,

It sounds like you can get by with a 720w PSU. I would try it and if it dosnt work, or starts acting weird under a heavy load.
