Windows ME and trying to install apache.I have read countless articles to no avail.Problem is that it installs ok or at least it says it did.Have set it for start from start menu yet I still get a tray icon?Httpd is as follows:network domain=localhost,
server name=127.0.0.1,
bla bla email.When I try to start it, notta the same for 127.0.0.1.I am using port 8080 by the way.Changed that to 8181 same.I am only trying to set it up for php as I am sure someone else has managed to do it on a older box?Anything ,Anyone thx in advace..Btw in dos it recognizes it's there but that is all, wont show an error file or nothing And have also read that it installs a registry key in local machine well I get one in current user?
