Please assist...
Has anyone had their browser hi-jacked by NETSTER.....I have looked for 2 days and cannot find a free program that will safely uninstall this uninvited intruder....If anyone knows a solution please inform me. This netster program has takem control of internet explorer. I believe I got this when i downloaded a free cd/burn program called free to burn...

Have you tried to uninstall this using the add/remove programs in the control panel?

So far I have tried these programs below to try to eliminate the Netster browser parasite

Avast
Adaware
Hi-Jack This
browser hi-jack retaliator
spybot
and two other online scanners

a program called XoftSpySE did locate the files...but required purchase to remove, and I am not able to send the $40.00 they need.

I have tried to do a systems restore but it no longer is worker either
I searched the Program files and see nothing
Add/Remove shows nothing

I have spent two days trying to locate a removal tool ( I am afraid to try on my own for fear of destroying my pc.

I have also downloaded HiJack this and ran a scan and a logfile
I am lost as to what moves to make..then thankfully I ran acrossed your site.

Can I ask you for direction...and is netster going to ruin my pc ?
